Plaintiff suffered injuries while at school and brought a negligence action against the school and the city. The defedants claimed they were protected by governmental immunity. The plaintiff claimed that the imminent harm-identifiable person exception to governmental immunity prevented the defendants from bring it as a defense. The Court ruled in favor of the defendants.
