Heartbeats for Hope

Heartbeats for Hope began with two little girls whose lives were saved before they were born.

At just 15 weeks pregnant, Jennifer Garza and her husband, Andrew Garza, Founding Partner of Claggett, Sykes & Garza, were told their identical twin daughters were not expected to survive.

After exhausting all efforts, they were introduced to Dr. Ruben Quintero of The Fetal Institute. Through highly specialized fetal care and lifesaving surgery, Dr. Quintero gave their daughters a chance at life.

Today, they are growing, thriving, and creating memories their parents once feared they would never have. Heartbeats for Hope was created to give more families that same chance.

In 2026, Claggett, Sykes & Garza and its sister firm, Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers, turned gratitude into hope by bringing together friends, colleagues, community partners, and supporters for the inaugural Heartbeats for Hope weekend benefiting The Fetal Institute Foundation.

The weekend began with the Quintero Classic Charity Golf Tournament and continued with An Evening with Zac Clark & Friends.

What began as one family’s deeply personal expression of gratitude became something far greater: a community coming together to support families facing some of the most frightening and uncertain moments of their lives.
