Biography

Ruonan (“Roy”) Wang is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer (“CFOO”) at Claggett, Sykes & Garza, LLC, and manages the firm’s operations and finance departments.

Roy has amassed extensive experience in both the non-profit and public sectors. Previously, Roy worked for the City of Hartford in the Department of Health and Human Services, as an associate director for the Hispanic Health Counsel, and as an epidemiologist for the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

Most recently, Roy worked as an analyst and planning specialist for the Connecticut Office of Health Strategy and Department of Revenue Services, where he collaboratively hired, managed, and supervised a team of data scientists and tax experts of the newly established Research, Analytics, and Forecasting Unit.

Roy joined CSG to leverage his data science, epidemiology, biostatistics, and strategic planning expertise. His analytical skills and collaborative mindset shape the firm’s strategic decision-making, allowing him to streamline operations and implement innovative and tech-forward solutions for our clients and team.

Outside of work, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their fluffball of a Goldendoodle named Bingley.
